I love filling Easter baskets (or bags, so they are travel-friendly) each year for family and friends! However, I try my best to only give gifts that are disposable i.e. can be eaten or used in a short amount of time, so that the gifts I give can be enjoyed, but won’t become useless clutter.
There is nothing worse than giving someone a gift to have it not be enjoyed! So I like to practice mindful gift giving, I personally have donated gifts almost immediately upon receiving them because they won’t serve a purpose in my life. I know that sounds harsh, but in the past I would’ve held on to the gift just because it was a gift and it caused so much annoyance, with my donate and let go policy, I can relish the intention of the gift without the burden of clutter.
Anyways on to the good stuff! Here is what I am stuffing in my Easter baskets this year…
Ideas for Adults
- Disposable Iced Coffee Cups with Bunny Straws for festive coffee drinks on Easter morning!
- Bunny Pens
- Playing Cards or Games (especially nice to pass the time if you are spending a long weekend together to celebrate the holiday)
- Giftcard to Starbucks
Ideas for Children
Ideas for Dogs
Sweets and Treats
- Chocolate Bunnies
- Milk and Dark Chocolate Eggs
- Chocolate Butter Eggs
- Sour Gummy Bunnies
- Sweet Surprise Chicks
I purchased most of the candy I stuffed my baskets with from See’s Candies, my family enjoys treats from See’s and by purchasing almost all of the treats from one store it made Easter shopping super easy! Now on to the most important question…are you team solid chocolate bunny or team hollow chocolate bunny? I am definitely team solid chocolate bunny, but our baskets are stuffed with hollow ones this year because that is what See’s makes.
